Behaviour Policy.

At Good Stead Theatre School, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment, where enjoyment, creativity, and education are at the heart of everything we do.

Our Behaviour Policy exists to maintain this positive atmosphere and ensure that every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Respect & Conduct

We expect all students to treat their peers, teachers, and staff with respect, kindness, and professionalism. Disruptive, rude, threatening, or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Our teaching staff and school management reserve the right to ask a student to leave a class if their behaviour negatively impacts the learning and enjoyment of others.

If a student’s behaviour is persistently disruptive or breaches this policy, the management team will be informed, and the student may be asked to leave Good Stead Theatre School.

Attendance & Commitment

Regular attendance is essential for progression. Students must arrive on time and prepared for each class. If a student is unable to attend, the school or teaching staff must be informed in advance.

Students with poor attendance leading up to a show or performance may not be eligible to participate, as consistent commitment is vital to maintaining the quality of our productions.

Behaviour in Unsupervised Areas

Students must maintain appropriate behaviour in all areas of the school, including changing rooms, canteens, and restrooms. Respect for others and the space we use is expected at all times.

Personal Belongings

Good Stead Theatre School and its management accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings. We advise students to keep valuables at home.

Dress Code

All students must wear the correct uniform for classes. If you are unsure of what to wear, our teaching staff will be happy to provide guidance.

By enrolling at Good Stead Theatre School, students and parents agree to uphold this Behaviour Policy to ensure a positive, professional, and creative learning environment for all.
